Hello, Lori!
Congratulations on your first family trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! First trips are always full of smiles, Mickey Mouse Premium Ice Cream Bars, photos and many magical memories! I remember the first time my husband and I headed down Main Street, U.S. A. with our Mouseketeer. He was so excited to see all the sights and was so excited when he got his first pair of Mickey Mouse Ears. It's one of my most cherished memories from our first trip!
I think your Mouseketeer will find many attractions to enjoy in the Magic Kingdom. Attractions like Dumbo and It's a Small World are always a big hit with little ones. You will find many attractions in Fantasyland do not have a height requirement, so they are sure to be enjoyed by kids of all ages-even parents! Take a look at this Disney Parks Blog post that organizes all of the Walt Disney World Resort
theme park attractions by height requirement. I think it will help you create a list of must-do attractions for your trip!
Food is a big part of the experience! Here are a few of my favorite venues that serve quick service meals:
Magic Kingdom- Columbia Harbour House and Pinocchio Village Haus
Epcot- Sunshine Seasons, Electric Umbrella and Liberty Inn
Disney's Hollywood Studios- Backlot Express, ABC Commissary and Studio Catering Company
Disney’s Animal Kingdom- Flame Tree Barbecue, Yak &Yeti Local Food Cafes
I hope this helps, and you have a magical first visit with your Mouseketeer!
Missy
