Hi, I am traveling with 6 & 7 year olds. We have four days with park hopper. Should I try to book dinner reservations at the park I am planning on going to that day or is it pretty easy to get around so my reservations can be anywhere?

    Hi Kimberly:

The Park Hopper option gives you the flexibility to come and go through the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks on the same day for the duration of your trip, so you are in good shape to dine just about anywhere without too much worry.

I have been traveling to Walt Disney World with my two boys, ages 6 and 4, since they were infants.  When we have the Park Hopper option on our tickets we don't worry about making dinner reservations at the Park we are visiting that day.  Usually we visit a Park in the morning and through lunch, then head back to the Resort for swim or relax time, and then head to our dinner reservation.  Getting around Disney property is very easy relying on Disney's bus, boat, and monorail transportation.  The only time it gets inconvenient is traveling from Resort to Resort as there is no direct Resort to Resort bus transportation.  So the one watch-out I would give you is that it will be quicker to travel from a Park to a dining reservation at a Resort restaurant since you can hop on a direct bus to the Resort from the Park.  If you plan to travel from your Resort to another Resort for dinner, you will have to factor in time to transfer buses at a Park or at Downtown Disney.

    Enjoy your vacation.
