We are traveling with my 4 & 7 year olds to DW on 05/14/11. We will be arriving at the MK about 4 in the afternoon. I was hoping to knock out a ride or 2 before the electrical parade at 9pm and then head out before the fireworks. Is that realistic?

Hi there Katherine! Sounds like you are going to do the same thing we are doing! By the time we get settled in our room, it will be around that same time. I am hoping to be able to go to Magic Kingdom walk around Main Street then head over to either Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain. Along the way I'll check to see what rides have short lines... If I find one with a short line, I'll ride it then keep going to my destination. When it gets near Parade time, I'll head over to get a nice sitting area for the kids and relax until the parade. There should be enough time for your family to leave the park before the Wishes&trade; Nighttime Spectacular begins. I hope this helps with your planning.
