Traveling with a 2 year old and 5 year old. How difficult is it to stay at a moderate resort and take bus transportation with a double stroller? Staying 4 nights so would be a $1100 difference if we choose Polynesian for the monorail use.

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Stay at one of the moderate Disney’s Resort with stroller is doable, of course. By the way, my favorite moderate is Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort you don’t have monorail to go to Disney Springs, to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and other places as well. I believe it is worth to try. The more I went to WDW with my kids at the age of yours, the more I found that a smaller stroller would be easier for me to dislocate throughout the entire park. Maybe, you can bring a smaller one or rent a smaller stroller like a side by side umbrella type. The complication is not only on just to fold the stroller, but grab the kids, take the diaper bag, the souvenirs bag, the bottles of water, the camera bag, their toys and more. The biggest issue is not really the strollers themselves but all the other stuff that we have to manage at the same time. If you fold the stroller, I believe that you won’t have a problem at all. And you can use that money difference to schedule a Character Meal for the kids or purchase a Memory Maker. You have to try to see for yourself. Go for it!

    Have a magical day!
