will be traveling 8/14-8/28 with 5 year old very picky eater. I know a lot of places have nuggets, but are there any counter service where they have kids hot dogs or grilled cheese. I don't want her living on nuggets for 14 days. Thanks!

    Hi Erin,

We just returned from WDW with my five year old daughter.  She did eat some chicken nuggets, but not every day.  Many of the counter service restaurants have choices like, turkey wraps, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, pasta with tomato sauce and ground turkey, corn dog nuggets, cheese pizza, roasted chicken, cheese burgers, or ham and cheese wraps.  One afternoon I wasn't too hungry and I got myself a kids chicken salad wrap.  It had chunks of white chicken meat and lettuce.  I had that with a small unsweetened ice tea, carrot sticks, and a side of fries for under $6.  I was impressed with how good the meal was and what a good value it was.

I didn't notice hot dogs or grilled cheese on any of the kid's menus at the counter service locations I went to, but both options were available at a few of the table service restaurants.  There are plenty of places throughout WDW to get corn dogs on a stick and the best hot dogs can be found at Casey's Corner in the Magic Kingdom.

    Have a magical vacation

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
