We are traveling with my 4 year old next december and my husband is worried that if we get seperated we will not be able to find her. do you know of the best way to handle that situation with a child at Disney during new years?

    Hi Katie,

New Year's Eve is a very busy time at Walt Disney World so I understand your concern.  We always tell our children if they get separated from us to find a Cast Member.  At Disney it is not children who are "lost" but their parents.  Any Cast Member will help a child find his or her parents.  When my kids were younger, we would show them Cast Members throughout the theme parks.  There are also Child Care Areas in every park where lost parents go to find their kids.  There are also bracelets that you can have made that will have your cell phone number on it so someone could call you or you could just put the information in your child's pocket.  We actually have never been separated from our children, and we have been going there since they were babies.  I know that your will have a magical vacation next year, Katie!
