Traveling with a 1 1/2 year old and a 5 month old. Can they accompany an adult on some mild rides?

    Hi Linda,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your terrific question. Walt Disney World is filled with fun experiences for all ages, from infants all the way to our most mature adults.

Basically, as long as a ride or attraction doesn't have a height restriction, it can be enjoyed by guests of all ages. There are more than 80 rides and attractions that fit that category. That includes some of the most iconic rides such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Country Bear Jamboree and Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom; Spaceship Earth at EPCOT; Kilimanjaro Safaris at Animal Kingdom; and Toy Story Mania! at Hollywood Studios.

Some of the newest experiences also are accessible to the smallest guests, including the Na'vi River Journey at Animal Kingdom; the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along at EPCOT; and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railroad at Hollywood Studios.

We visited last month with friends who have a 3-year-old and a 7-month-old. Watching their little faces as we floated through it's a small world was priceless.

You will find lots of tips and details about visiting Walt Disney World with young children in the Planning for Preschoolers & Little Kids section of the website. You may want to pay particular attention to the information about the Baby Care Centers in each park, which are comfortable places to feed, change or nurse little ones.

I hope this is helpful, Linda. Please let us know if you have any other questions about traveling with little ones. Together, the Disney Parks Moms Panel members have years and years of Disney travel experience and are happy to share what we've learned about creating magical memories with our families at Walt Disney World. Enjoy!
