Hi! I will be traveling with my 2 year old in March. He has a dairy allergy and is allergic to anything with the casein in it (butter, milk, yogurt, etc). Can you recommend places to eat at for him in and out of the parks? Thanks! Nicole

Hi Nicole! Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm so excited about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! March is a great time to visit! To see Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of your two year old will be nothing less than magical!

We have some food allergies in my family as well. I want to assure you Walt Disney World Resort is very accommodating and the Cast Members are thorough when asking what food allergies and intolerances a Guest has.

Given the age of your son, my suggestion for you is to map out a tentative itinerary of your plans and then contact Special Dietary Requests at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. The Cast Members are magnificent! Let them know the restaurants where you plan to dine. They will help you navigate through your dining options. Even after getting their input, be sure to talk with a Cast Member at each of the restaurants you select. Make sure they are aware of his allergy so they can find yummy alternatives he will enjoy. At the table-service locations, typically a Chef or special-diets trained Cast Member will visit you at your table and discuss the allergy with you. If you are planning to dine at a buffet, you will find allergen guides and alternative menus. Many quick-service restaurants also offer allergy-friendly menu items.

While we don't always need them, we typically carry snacks with us just in case we are in a location with limited options. While this is rare, the snacks have come in handy from time to time.

Thank you again for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
