Welcome to planDisney, Joseph! Spending time with your granddaughter on Disney Cruise Line sounds like a great chance to make magical memories. I hope you are all excited about your vacation, which will be here before you know it!
Along with the required
citizenship documentation, you will need to bring the
Authorization for Minor to Travel Without a Parent or Legal Guardian if her parents or legal guardians will not be traveling with you. A parent or legal guardian should complete this form, and it shows that you will retain care, custody, and control of her during the duration of your sailing. You will present the completed form when you check in at the cruise terminal. When you all debark at Ports of Call, she will need either her
Key to the World card or
DisneyBand+. Adults in your traveling party will need one of those, plus a photo ID to debark.
If she is interested, I hope your granddaughter will want to visit
Disney's Oceaneer Club. This youth activities space is for Guests ages 3 to 10. There will be interactive activities, games, arts and crafts, and so much more. You all can check out the club with her during Open House times, which will be listed in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you embark. While she is having fun there, you can check out some of the
adult-exclusive areas, such as the
Quiet Cove Pool.
Joseph, I hope you all have a great time sailing the high seas together. Take lots of pictures and enjoy each moment. If you have any other questions, you have a friend in
planDisney. Sail back to visit us anytime.
Have a magical vacation!
