HI Matt! That sounds like a great trip! I do recommend that you visit the
Disney World website and check out the calendar for that week. That will give you an idea of opening and closing times of each park, and also if there are any special events. Those are always subject to change, so you may want to check back frequently and also closer to your trip.
My biggest suggestion is to make your
dining reservations first. You can browse the restaurants online and book your reservations there, or you can call 407-WDW-DINE to speak to a specialist who can make recommendations and reservations. Once you have figured out where you want to eat, I recommend that you plan your days according to where your reservations are. For example, if you decide to eat breakfast at Chef Mickey's, (which I highly recommend) then you may want to plan on visiting Magic Kingdom park that day since it is close by. That will also give you a chance to ride the monorail if you are not staying at one of the Disney resorts along the monorail. Plan each day accordingly, and then if you don't have a dining reservation on a certain day, you can go to whichever park you wish.
I allow a full day at each park and then re-visit our favorites as time allows. We do get a park hopper ticket so we can spend a morning doing some things in one park, and the evening at another with a short nap back at the resort in between.
If you haven't already done this, you should visit the
customized map page on the Disney World website. You can look at maps of all the parks, choose your favorites, and then they'll mail you a customized map! This is a great tool to get acquainted with park layouts and plan your visit!
