Hi Amy,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I have it on good authority that Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be delighted to greet your little one at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Once we decide which parks we are visiting on which days of our trip, I make dining reservations for character meals. Character meals are a great way to see your child's favorite characters without standing in long lines! Some of our favorite character meals are: Magic Kingdom - The Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Royal Table. We also adore Be Our Guest although it is not technically a character meal. At Disney's Animal Kingdom - Tusker House with Safari Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Friends is fun with good food. At Epcot, we love Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Coral Reef Restaurant. Dining in front of a gorgeous coral reef with thousands of sea creatures is amazing!
When thinking about attractions, I suggest that you take a look at the
Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones Guide. The guide will help you decide which attractions your child might enjoy. Also check the height requirements for each attraction. There are a few that my girls enjoy which your little one might love as well:
- Disney's Animal Kingdom - Na'vi River Journey, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and The Lion King Show
- Magic Kingdom - The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and Astro Orbiter
- Epcot - Frozen Ever After, Living with the Land, The Seas with Nemo & Friends and Innoventions
Amy, there are parades and fireworks that would also make your trip amazing! At Magic Kingdom, Happily Ever After is phenomenal. Our girls also love the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It Street Party at Magic Kingdom! Break out your best dance moves!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse Hugs,
Donyell
