Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    Traveling 2-25-2-28/15 with my 1.5 year old daughter. We are only planning on visiting 2 parks. Magic kingdom and what other park do you think she will get the most out of at her age? Also do you have a sample itinerary? other suggestions. luau, downtown?

    How wonderful to hear your vacation is only a hop, skip and a jump away! I am sure you are excitedly planning your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth and I am flattered that you have let us be a part of it. 

    Magic Kingdom Park will be a wonderful adventure for your little princess. There are so many incredible attractions and activities she will just adore. My favorite resource for planning the fun for my little ones is the Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones site. You are able to view what attractions are perfect for their ages, what shows they might adore and even view sample itineraries with them in mind. As for which other park to visit, that is a tough one. My 2-year-old daughter loves Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, where she can watch animals all day. She also enjoys playing at The Boneyard and watching Broadway style productions such as, Festival of the Lion King or Finding Nemo - The Musical. We also find planning a Character Dining Experience is a great way to introduce her to Disney friends. This way she has some time to warm up to the characters instead of a quick interaction that is a bit more frightening.  We have gotten some great pictures at the meals, even if it takes a rotation or two before she is ready to say hello.
