DH and I are traveling w/our 2 yr old. We have the dining plan.I know she is not included but can share. We plan on a few buffets and have reservations at Chef Mickeys. Any other restaurant suggestions so we can get the best bang for our buck? Thanks:)

    Hi Tracie!

I recommend doing Table Service (full service) meals for lunch instead of dinner.  Generally speaking, it's a lot less expensive.  One idea that has worked well for our family is to eat a late breakfast on the go and then eat a late lunch at a Table Service restaurant, followed by a small dinner or snack at a Quick Service location.  I also recommend bringing in your own snacks and/or bottle water to cut down on food costs in the parks.

I also recommend visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  The team at All Ears does a great job keeping up with all of the changes at Walt Disney World.  On their website you can find the menu, including prices, for all of the restaurants at Walt Disney World.

By the way, you mention having a reservation at Chef Mickey's, but I recommend having a reservation for every Table Service meal you want to have!  Those restaurants are very popular at Walt Disney World and it's hard to impossible to just "walk up".

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and write back with more specific questions.
