Traveling w/my 6 mth old in March. I use powder formular that I mix w/water. For touring in the parks, should I pre-mix everything and try to keep them cold in the park, put powder in the bottles and just add water when needed or use ready to feed? thx

Hi, Renee! I've done the powder formula dance at Disney World. We prefilled bottles with water and then added the powder mix to the bottle when it was time for the kid to eat. After feeding, I'd go to the mens room to clean off all the crusty powder residue I spilled on myself in the process.

After that experience, we tried a different approach which I'd highly recommend. Visit a site like Diapers.com that offers free shipping (and ship directly to your resort.) They have premixed formula bottles (and diapers, duh.) With the premixed bottles, all you need to do is shake the bottle, unscrew the seal and slap a nipple on it and you're good to go. It's worlds easier (and cleaner) than all that is involved in mixing it yourself.
