Anchors aweigh, Stacy! I'm so glad you hopped on board planDisney with your question. Just like Moana answers the call of the sea, my fellow panelists and I are happy to answer the call of questions from guests like you!
Stacy, how exciting that you'll be setting sail on Disney Cruise Line's newest ship in the fleet, the
Disney Wish! I'm sure that your kids will fall in love with all there is to see and do on board. My youngest son was amazed that he could get ice cream all day every day. If you have any little Mouseketeers who would love a sweet treat, make sure to scope out
deck 11 on your embarkation day!
Now, Stacy, let's make sure you have all of the
correct paperwork so that your sailing is smooth from the first moment you arrive at the port. All guests, including children, will need present proper identification. At this time, if your children are US Citizens (and since they are under age 16) sailing from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas, they will need
one of the following:
- Original valid US Passport
- Original valid US Passport Card
- Original valid Trusted Traveler Card (NEXUS, FAST)
- Original or copy of their state-issued birth certificate
- Original Consular Report of Birth Abroad issued by the Department of State
- Original Certificate of Naturalization issued by US Citizenship
Stacy, please note that requirements are different for different departure ports, itineraries, and non-US Citizens. If you take a cruise in the future, please make sure to check back with us in case there have been any changes.
I'll be wishing on a star that you have a pixie-dusted trip. If you have any additional questions, just grab your oars and row on back to planDisney.
Lauren
