I will be traveling with my whole family (hubby, sister, Bro-in-law, Mother, nieces) for my daughters 1st birthday last week of October. I have a couple of questions, is it worth it to find a 2 bedroom villa or just book 2 different rooms?

    Hi Maria,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations! Heading to Walt Disney World with extended family is so much fun, and it is wonderful that you are planning to celebrate your daughter's first birthday there!

When my family travels with extended family, we do like to book a two-bedroom villa at a Disney Deluxe Villa Resort. We like to do this because while it allows for separate spaces, you also will have a living room where everyone can hang out together without having to be in a bedroom. We also really like that a two-bedroom villa comes with a full kitchen, which means that you can save some time and money on eating by preparing some meals in the villa. My family also loves the convenience of a washer and dryer right inside the villa! This allows us to pack less by doing laundry on vacation.

While there are many Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, let me share a couple of my favorites with you. I very much enjoy the convenience of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Not only does it have a sleek and modern feel, but the ability to walk to Magic Kingdom is, well, magical! If you are looking for a relaxing resort with lots of space, I suggest Disney's Old Key West Resort. The villas at this resort are incredibly spacious, and the theme of the Florida Keys is relaxing and rejuvenating.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Maria! Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
