Traveling the week of December 2 (NEXT WEEK!!), staying at Boardwalk. Will the entrances to Epcot and HS on the Boardwalk side of the parks be open? I'm reading Boat Transportation may not be available. Thanks!

    Hi Tiffany!

Thanks for stopping by to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost here and I know you've got to be so excited! Be sure to take advantage of the My Disney Experience Mobile App during your trip as it's my favorite way to manage all of my plans while enjoying Walt Disney World Resort.

My family and I just got home from an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation where we stayed at Disney's Beach Club Resort, which is located on Disney's BoardWalk and also has access to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios by water transportation and walking trails. There is construction at Epcot's International Gateway to build the Disney Skyliner Gondola. While schedules can always change, we found that both the walking paths and water transportation were open during our trip. However, boat transportation did have shorter hours for a few days during our trip to allow for evening construction. On those days, there were signs notifying Guests of reduced hours and the Friendship Boat captains made announcements during our trip as well. I recommend that you check with the Front Desk at Disney's BoardWalk Inn during your vacation for the latest transportation schedules during your vacation.

Here's wishing you lots of pixie dust for your magical trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
