Traveling to WDW with our 2 year old girl and 5 year old son April 8-12. Staying at The Swan b/c we have Starwood Pts & status. How necessary is the meal plan? We have breakfast w/ our club level status and our kids eat light. doing 2 character meals.T

    Hi Eleanore!

Looks like your son and daughter are going to have a fantastic time at Walt Disney World! I was thinking of going down there around that time as well!

If your reservation includes a daily breakfast at the Swan then adding the meal plan really isn't a necessity. The best way to get the most out of the meal plan is if you are planning to eat the majority of your meals at the parks or resorts. Depending on how much you eat, you will probably come out ahead price wise without the plan and just paying for your own meals. I do suggest making your reservations as soon as possible though, if you haven't already. The telephone number is 407-WDW-DINE.
