I am traveling to WDW on 9/24 with wife and DS (4) and was wondering what activities there are for rainy days. We are staying at All Star Movie resort. Is there anything to do at the hotel?

    Hi Jeremy!

If it rains, you should head to the theme parks.  Seriously -- the lines will be less because a lot of guests would rather stay home or in their hotel rooms.  That said, some parks are better than others in the rain.  The Magic Kingdom is probably the best, because its attractions are very close to each other so you can quickly get from one to the other without getting soaked.  Then I think it's a toss up between Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot.  Epcot is huge and the pavilions are far apart, but each pavilion in Future World has a lot to do; you could let a fast moving storm pass while staying inside a pavilion.  The worst park to visit when it is raining is Disney's Animal Kingdom, because most of its attractions are outdoors.

Many guests will head to Downtown Disney and either DisneyQuest or the movie theater.  The movie theater is state of the art and very nice.  DisneyQuest is a lot of fun for older children; I think your four year old would be bored.  DisneyQuest, unfortunately, is also packed on a rainy day.

    Have a magical vacation!
