    We are traveling to WDW in 3 weeks and my youngest is exactly 40 inches tall with normal shoes on. I am worried that at the actual rides their "rulers" might be slightly different and she will be denied. How exact or forgiving are they on measu

    Hi Erin,

    The cast members at the height measuring stations are usually quite strict. Their job is to ensure that all guests are safe on the attractions, and they take that job seriously. I've had cast members ask my daughters to remove hats or high ponytails so that they could get a more accurate measurement. You should also know that children are actually measured twice at rides with height requirements, once at the ride entrance and once just before boarding the attraction itself.
