Hi Tiffany! Personally, I go swimming every time I go to Walt Disney World, regardless of month, and am not ever cold, be it the resort pool or a water park. My girls and I have even gone swimming, in the rain, in December, so that should give you an idea. Also, being a hearty Mid-Westerner, I think you will be more than fine hitting a water park during your trip. Certainly not a waste of money.
