We are traveling to WDW the week after Thanksgiving 11/26 - 12/03 to avoid the holiday crowds. I've been to Disney 3 times but w 8 people now I'm overwarmed with the planning. Which park to choose what day to catch best holiday magic for each park/-crowds

    Hi Melissa!

This is a great question.  Thanks for sending it to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

The parks and resorts are beautiful at the time of year you will be visiting.  With regards to visiting the parks, the parks will be less and less crowded as you get further away from the Thanksgiving weekend.  That said, I still I recommend getting to a park at least 30 minutes before the official posted opening time.  You can get a lot more done in the morning than you can for the same amount of time in the afternoon; basically have fun while other guests are sleeping in!

I do recommend visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  That's the website for the research team behind "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  They are a famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar that predicts the crowds on any particular day in each of the theme parks.  I think this is exactly what you are looking for.  They are also known for producing touring plans that minimize your wait in lines.  The plans can help you see and do more during your trip to Walt Disney World.  As an engineer, I'm a huge fan of their work as their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of collected data.

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions!
