We are traveling to WDW with our two y.o. son. Is Animal Kingdom good for toddlers? Also, we are thinking of going back to our hotel for a nap, which is not on Disney premises. Can we re-enter parks for the afternoon without having to pay again? Thanks!

    Hi Beth,

You will be delighted to know that Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park has attractions and entertainment for all ages!  I travel with a 4-year old and a 1-year old and we visit this park on every trip.

In my opinion, this is the one park where some of the shows are "must-sees" for my family.  Finding Nemo-The Musical and Festival of the Lion King are both shows that my children love to see over and over again. We also spend a fair amount of time in the "DinoLand USA area" in the park. The Boneyard and TriceraTop Spin are two of my children's favorite attractions.  And don't forget about the Wildlife Express Train and the Kilimanjaro Safaris!

I would suggest visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Park Web page to view more information on the attractions and entertainment.  Disney has done a fabulous job in categorizing attractions with the appropriate Age Range.

Also, your base ticket also allows the flexibility to come and go to one Theme Park on the same day.  Just be sure to check the park hours for that day.

Make sure you keep your camera handy because you never know which animals or magical memories you will make!
