I will be traveling to WDW from 4/3 to 4/6 with three adults (one pregnant) and one 8-year-old child (girl). We will be able to spend 3 1/2 days in the parks. I can't decide which park to spend a half day in. Please help. Thank you.

    Julia:

Magic Kingdom deserves its own day....and Epcot is so large you need AT LEAST one day to see everything....

That leaves two parks for the last day and a half: Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.  I would usually tell you to spend your 1/2 day in Animal Kingdom, afterall, even Disney thinks there's not much there to keep it open past 5 p.m.  However, with someone pregnant in your party, some of the reasons to explore DHS all day may be off limits (Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, even Toy Story Mania).  Animal Kingdom offers some fabulous, Broadway-quality shows that are difficult to fit into a half day because the park is so vast.  With someone in your group needing to take it easy, visiting Animal Kingdom for a full day to take in all of its shows and cover all of its grounds is very appealing....

I'd probably still recommend that you use your full day on Hollywood Studios, and take in all of its shows, too.  It's a smaller park for navigating that will be welcomed to anyone pregnant.  But if your dining schedule or other issues don't allow for it, you would do just as well using your full day for Animal Kingdom.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
