We are traveling to WDW staying at all star movies in October and we are not renting a car. We are wondering how much time we should allot for transportation to make our ADR's on time, and to the parks etc. Would we be better off calling a cab?

Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

Oh, you will be visiting Walt Disney World during a most wonderful time of year.  The sights are BOOtiful and and sounds are SPOOKtacular!

I always tell guests to allow at least an hour to an hour and a half for travel time from your resort to a Walt Disney World Theme Park.  The Walt Disney World Transportation System (bus) runs approximately every 20 minutes.  Once onboard, you can expect approximately 15 to 20 minutes of travel time.  Once you arrive at your park destination, it will be at least a 10 minute walk to the park's entrance and to make it through the lines to enter.  Yes, an hour should be enough, but I enjoy knowing I have plenty of time to make my reservation without the fear of being late.

Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are always ready to offer some great tips and advice to our guests.  May your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories!

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"~
