Hello! We are going to be traveling to WDW over spring break in March with a large group of family. We are staying off site, we purchased park tickets...question is...so do we not get magic bands since we are off property? What do we get to park hop?

    Hi Amy!

So happy to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort very soon and with your large family! MagicBands are probably the coolest and most convenient thing rolled out  by the Disney Parks! There are two ways of getting MagicBands. Guests listed on a reservation at a Disney Resort obtain them free as part of the reservation since these serve as room keys among other things.  Since you and your family will be staying off-site, you can obtain the MagicBands  by purchasing them via the Disney Store, the Shop Parks App (available on your smart phone) or upon arrival at practically any shop within Walt Disney World Resort. Just so you know, if a guest is staying off site, MagicBands are not required at the theme parks as the ticket cards would essentially serve the same purpose and would also allow you to park hop if you purchased the Park Hopper Option with your tickets.

    Did you know?
: The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will be taking place during your visit in March! Be sure to check out the special events taking place during this beautiful and fun-filled festival! For more information, please visit this page: Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

It has been a pleasure assisting you Amy! Please feel free to send in any other questions you may have.

    Happy Planning!
