Hi Heather --
Most of the time, I can't figure out what I want to have for dinner tonight, so planning dinners months ahead of time can seem impossible. However, I think you definitely want to make some dining reservations as soon as possible. A lot of the more popular restaurants fill up quickly, especially those that feature characters. You can always cancel your reservations if you find other options.
You can find information regarding the characters found at each restaurant by clicking
HERE. For traditional characters, I recommend Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, Garden Grill in Epcot, or Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House. If your family likes Winnie the Pooh, Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom is a great option. Cinderella's Royal Table is popular for princess lovers, but it fills up quickly. Akershus in Norway at Epcot offers a comparable alternative.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
