We are traveling to WDW in 2020. One child will be 2yrs Old when we check-in to our resort, and turns 3 the very next day when we go to the Parks. Is it true we don't need a ticket for them since we check-in while they are 2 yrs old?

    Hi Andy!

Thanks for your question. We at the Moms Panel are always happy to assist the wonderful guests out there as best we can!

Your assessment is correct. Theme Park entrance for any child up to 2 years and 11 months is at no cost. If you've secured a Disney Vacation package, the age is based on date of arrival, not the age of the child during or near the end of the vacation. In this sense, you will not need to purchase a ticket for your child to enter the theme parks.

Hope this provides you the information you need. Have a splendid time at Disney World in 2020!
