Hi Moms! We are traveling to WDW in Oct. I want to find out what are the "must sees" at Epcot that are good for kids who are 6 & 4. The main reason for going is to meet the Fairies but we want to make the most of our day there also. Thanks!

    Hi Shawn!

My daughter (and really, my son, too) are all about the fairies! We've seen the movies, read the books and see pixie dust everywhere!

I know some people think Epcot isn't kid-friendly but I totally disagree. My kids were newly 2 and 5 when we went last year and they LOVED it!

Some of their favorite attractions in Future World:

    1. All of Innoventions. Granted this is a little too grown up to actually understand. But they loved all the hands-on stuff! They made velcro frogs, played a matching game, pushed a trash truck around and planned their retirement with a piggy bank. They still talk about it!

    2. The Seas With Nemo and Friends. You get to sit in a giant shell and see your favorite Nemo friends swim by. In this same pavilion you can see live fish AND talk to Crush. So, it doesn't get much better than that.

    3. Spaceship Earth. This is a slow ride and both kids thought it was a blast.

    In the World Showcase:

    1. Kidcot Stations. At each country, you collect a mask (or it might be Duffy now) and can color on it and add a little piece of the country to it. It's like a craft project every few feet. They still play with their Kidcot creations at home!

    2. Characters. There are lots of "hidden" characters in the countries. You can find Snow White in Germany, Aladdin in Morocco, Marie in Paris and Mulan in China. We had fun matching our favorite characters to their country.

    3. Rides. There are a few rides in the World Showcase--their favorite was the Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico.

I hope that helps! Your kids will love Epcot! It is a huge, fun adventure!
