We are traveling to WDW in November. I'm hearing from friends that the pools at the resorts will be too cold to swim in....Is this true? Never been to Florida before!

    Hi Susan,

The pools at WDW are heated year-round to 82 degrees. For many visitors, this temperature is very comfortable for swimming.

November temps average in the high 70s during the day and low 50s at night. Plan to swim in the afternoon and you should be absolutely fine to enjoy the pool!

At night, you'll find plenty of kids swimming although parents may opt to just watch or head for the hot tub. Kids seem to be able to tolerate the change in temperatures a lot better. My son has swam plenty of times at WDW when the lifeguards were sitting in jackets shivering!

If you experience typical November weather with near 80 degree days, swimming will be a nice afternoon pastime!
