We will be traveling to WDW in November. We currently have a reservation for breakfast that I am not happy with the time. What is the latest I can cancel my reservation without getting charged?

    Hi Cathy,

Thanks for your excellent question about advance dining reservations at Walt Disney World. If for any reason you decide a reservation is not right for you and your family, you can cancel without penalty up to 24 hours in advance. If you are a no-show or fail to cancel in a timely way, the credit card you used to guarantee the reservation will be charged $10 per person.

But let's concentrate on helping you find the perfect time for your breakfast. Since you have a reservation already, I'd suggest you check back frequently to see if you can modify the time. The easiest way to do that is by using the My Disney Experience Mobile App. In the "My Plans" section, tap the reservation you want to change and then tap "Modify". Click the time you really want and it will show you if there is availability. If there's not, just navigate out of the area. If there's been a cancellation and your preferred time is now available, you can make the change.

You can also make this quick check for availability in the desktop version of My Disney Experience. The procedure is a little different. Here you will find your reservation in the "My Reservations and Tickets" section, and the link is called "Change Reservation." Once you're there, it works the same as in the mobile app: check for a new time and click "Change" if you find what you're looking for.

I hope that helps, Cathy. Please check back with the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can offer any other tips or recommendations to you as you make your Walt Disney World vacation plans. Good luck in your search for the perfect breakfast!

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
