I am traveling to WDW in Nov '18 with two sides of my family; part (including me) are staying on WDW Resort (with DDP), part are staying off at Shades of Green (no DDP). Will we be able to still dine together? How can we ensure reservations?

    Hi Katelyn,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I’ve often made Disney dining reservations for large groups of people, with some people staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and others who were not. All you need to do is make a dining reservation that includes the total number of people in your party (including infants), and you’ll all be able to dine together.

An additional tip: if some of you plan to use a Disney Dining Plan to pay for your meal, make sure to mention it to the Cast Member who will be checking you in for your reservation, as well as your server. They’ll make sure that the bills are divided up properly at the end of your meal.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
