We are traveling to WDW in nine days and plan on visiting a water park with our three children. Which of the two do you suggest for a 3, 7 and 14 year old? Thank you.

    Hi Sonia!

Both water parks are absolutely fabulous and I'm sure you will have a great time regardless of which one you visit.  That said, I have two boys, ages 12 and 7 and both greatly prefer Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard Beach.  However, I think most teenagers prefer Blizzard Beach.

I personally prefer Typhoon Lagoon because it has a lot more shading than Blizzard Beach and I think that's really important, especially on a hot summer day.  If you do go, be careful in the Surf Pool.  It's produces incredible waves and a lot of guests are surprised by them; they really contain a lot of energy.  My suggestion is to spend some time in the shallow end and then only move in closer to where the waves are generated after you see how big they are.

Enjoy your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
