We are traveling to WDW next month (may) with our 6year old boy, 5 year old girl, and 2 year old girl. Any advise on having our girls bring princess/minnie dreses? Is it worth the cuteness to travel with the extra clothing?

    Hi Sherry!

How exciting that your family will be at Disney in a matter of weeks!  We are going in April, and my kids are besides themselves with excitement!  I think it's a great idea to add to your fun by packing some "costumes" for your little princesses.  They actually pack really well in those extra large zip-top bags.  Stick them both in, squish out the air, and you'll be all set when you arrive.  I wouldn't recommend having your girls prance around the parks in their dresses all day, as May can be warm, and they might get overheated. (Not to mention that they might drip chocolatey Mickey ice cream bars all over them!)   Rather, I'd recommend saving their "fancy outfits" for a special character meal, or a character meet and greet.  There are lockers available for a small fee in each of the parks if they need to change after their debuts.

Bringing your own dresses will help resist the temptation to splurge on new ones in the parks, and your girls will probably be just as delighted to meet their favorite Disney pals while wearing their dresses from home.

    Have a wonderful trip!
