We are traveling to WDW this month&need reccs for a resort. Have 2 babies under 2. Traveling w/inlaws so we can have date nights. What resort is best, quick access to parks, fun for todds & EZ access to nightlife for the hubs and I? Plan to visit M

    Hi Kate,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question.  Let me get this straight, you get to have your babies on vacation with you AND have date nights? That sounds like paradise!

Based on your party's size and needs, I would definitely recommend staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel in the Epcot Resort Area. I would recommend Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, if only because Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be undergoing refurbishment during your travel dates. There will be lots to keep your little ones busy at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, plus it’s only a short walk to Epcot and a slightly longer walk (or boat ride) to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Bus transportation is available to the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney.

If you’re able to splurge a bit on your Resort Hotel room, I would recommend looking into a One Bedroom Villa at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas. I appreciate having access to extra amenities, such as a full kitchen and a washer and dryer, when I’m travelling with my little one.

As for your date nights, you could either spend them at Epcot’s World Showcase or along Disney’s BoardWalk… Not a bad choice, if you ask me!

For more ideas about fun things to do with your little ones, I encourage you to check out the Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones page for more information.

Happy planning and please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day!
