i will be traveling to wdw in may with a 7 month old. i was considering ordering his food and supplies online and shipping it to my hotel. has anyone done this? any suggestions?

    Hi Janine,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Shipping items to my resort is one of the main reasons I've never been intimidated by traveling with infants.  Having familiar items, without the hassle of carrying them (you have other more precious cargo to worry about on travel day) takes a lot of the stress out of travel!

I actually ship myself a box using UPS.  I send diapers, wipes, food, extra pacifier, crib sheet, bath supplies, burp cloths, hats...anything that I would use at home or need for a Florida vacation.  This allows me to feel confident that I have all the necessities to make my little one comfortable, and because you need to ship it out early (it's five days for me from New Hampshire) it takes away that last minute stress of feeling like you're forgetting something important!

If this seems like a hassle, you could always use www.gardengrocer.com to pre-order you supplies groceries and have them delivered directly to your resort upon arrival.  The only downfall here is that you are limited to their selection of products/brands which may not be exactly what you are accustomed to using.

    Have a great vacation!
