Hi, we are traveling to WDW from May 21st to May 26th, because of some special occations: 1. My Wife's birthday, 2. My Daughter 1st visit to WDW. Do you have any ideas of special events to celebrate, specially my wife's birthday. Also how crowded will WDW

    Hi, Mario!

Wow! A very Happy Birthday to your wife and a Happy 1st Visit to WDW to your little princess, too!

There are so many ways to Celebrate Your Special Occasion while at Walt Disney World; I'm sure that you'll find several that you'll just have to book for the gals in your life.

For both the birthday and the 1st visit, be sure to pick up a Celebration Recognition Button either at your resort or in any of the parks. This will alert both Cast Members and Guests alike that you are celebrating, and the ladies will receive well-wishes throughout their entire day (or stay...if they choose to keep them on!) These are among our favorite keepsakes, too, as they remind us of how extra-special those particular occasions were that year.

Next, take a look at the magical creations available from Disney Floral & Gifts. Just last month, I was away (in WDW, of course) on our wedding anniversary, so my husband had a My Fairy Tale Bouquet delivered to my resort. This bouquet was so lovely, that everyone who saw it (friends, Cast Members, even the ladies in Disney's Earport at Orlando International Airport) commented on how beautiful the arrangement was.

Of course, don't forget to book a special Table Service meal to celebrate your occasions as well. You can even have specialty cakes delivered to your Walt Disney World restaurant, as long as you order at least 48 hours in advance (see the "Celebrate Your Special Occasion" link above for more information).

Have fun planning, Mario! Be sure to send us more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
