Hello. I will be traveling to WDW in May. I am looking at shipping items including a lighsaber from Savi's workshop. Can you ship items from the park? Could I bring all of my items from the week and ship them together? Like when staying on property?

Hello, Christina! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to hear that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this May! I love helping people plan their next magical vacation, so thanks for asking this question!

I won't deny it. I love Disney merch. I always need another coffee mug, Christmas ornament, or spirit jersey. If it has a Mickey on it, I want it. Unfortunately, there's not always room in my luggage for all my new goodies. Maybe you can relate? There's good news, Christina - you can absolutely have your purchases shipped home from the theme parks. At checkout, let the Cast Member know that you would like to have your items shipped home. They will direct you to fill out a shipping form and pay for the costs. This varies depending on the value of the items and where they are being shipped. The process is pretty simple and quick.

For Savi's Workshop, the Cast Member may direct you to a nearby store to have your lightsaber shipped, since it's more of an experience than a retail location. You are going to enjoy it so much, and it will be convenient not to have to carry your new creation around the parks with you.

If you'd like to combine multiple purchases in one shipment, keep your receipt for each item, and take them all to any Disney-owned store on property, and a Cast member will be happy to take care of it for you. Packages can be mailed from the front desk of most resorts, as well, but in this situation, they need to already be packaged and ready for shipping. There are business centers at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa that can box your items for you, if you like.

Since you're a Star Wars fan, did you know that you can book a personalized 20-minute photo session in Galaxy's Edge? It's called Capture Your Moment, and it's one of my favorite Enchanting Extras. You'll feel like a VIP with your own PhotoPass Photographer snapping pictures of you and up to seven additional people in front of the Millennium Falcon and all around Batuu. If you purchase Memory Maker, your photo downloads will be included at no extra cost!

Be sure to spend some time in the Black Spire Outpost. The attention to detail is incredible. If you get hungry, I suggest a stop by Ronto Roasters. I personally love both the Ronto Morning Wrap at breakfast, as well as the classic Ronto Wrap for lunch or dinner.

I hope this helps, Christina! And I hope you have the most magical vacation, making memories and shopping to your heart's content! If you have any more questions, please come back and see us here at planDisney
