We are traveling to WDW this May - celebrating my mentally challenged sisters 60th birthday. Need direction on where to go to make res for dinner for 16 on May 7th . No one seems to be able to direct us .

Hello Linda!  Thanks for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so excited for your upcoming trip, traveling with 16 people will be a lot of fun!

Making dining reservations for such a large party can be difficult. I suggest calling 407-WDW-DINE.  That is the Dining Reservation Hotline where you can make dining reservations and inquire about restaurants. The Cast Member on the phone should absolutely be able to help you.

If you haven't already selected a restaurant, I would recommend looking into 'Ohana for dinner.  'Ohana is located on the upper level of the Polynesian Resort.  The menu is served family style and is all-you-care-to-enjoy.  I think this would be a great place to dine with your large party.  There are several tables in the restaurant and are pretty close together. The meal starts with bread, salad, pork dumplings and chicken wings.  Next you will enjoy an endless amount of chicken, pork, shrimp and steak cooked in the middle of the restaurant on a wood fire grill.  The sides are noodles and broccoli and your meal ends with a delicious bread pudding!  It is my favorite meal at Walt Disney World.  There is also dining room entertainment like the limbo, hula dancing and coconut races.  It would be the perfect place for a birthday party!

If you have any other questions about your vacation, please don't hesitate to ask!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
