We are traveling to WDW in March. Can we still go to a WDW or Disney Springs the morning we check out, or will we have to pay additional fees? Thanks! -Jen, IL

    Hi, Jennifer!

I am so happy to hear you want to enjoy all the magic of Walt Disney World right up until you have to go home. There is so much to see and do!

The day you check-out, you are welcome to enjoy your resort by sleeping in, or just hanging pool side.  (Remember that you must check out of your room by 11:00 a.m.)  You can also take a bus to Disney Springs where you can enjoy shopping, dining, or even catch a movie depending on your schedule.  There is no charge to visit Disney Springs.

If you plan to visit any of the theme parks, you will need to have a valid park admission.  You can add extra days onto your ticket as long as you have not yet used up your last day.  You can go to any guest service location to upgrade your ticket. Depending on how many days of tickets you already have, it might not cost too much to add on one more day.  For example, to go from a 4 day ticket to a 5 ticket is only about $10 more (approximate price, prices subject to change).  A cast member at guest services can give you exact pricing.

Remember that if you plan to take Disney's Magical Express to the airport, your motor coach transportation will be scheduled approximately 3 hours prior to your flight time.

I hope you find the perfect way to spend your final morning in Walt Disney World!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
