Traveling to WDW in Mar '10 with 8 adults and 4 kids (5, 3, 2yrs and 2mos). Wanted to do Hoop-Dee-Doo but my husband has some reservations. Do you think HDD is a good idea with children those ages?

    Hi Michele,

Don't be mad, but I'm going to side with your hubby on this one.  The Hoop De Do Revue is a wonderful country-western variety show with great food, lots of hilarious musical acts and tons of slap stick comedy.  In my experience, however, many of the jokes are lost on small children.  We took my kids to the Revue when they were young (2 and 4) and while they were far from miserable, I'm not sure that they understood what was going on, and in fact, had a hard time sitting through the entire show.  I have since taken them back, several years later, and they had a great time.

I'm guessing your family would have a better time at a character dinner.  Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, The Garden Grille at Epcot or Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom are all great venues to end a perfect Disney day.

    Have a magical trip!
