Hi! We are traveling to the WDW late next month & plan on utilizing Disney's Magical Express. Flying w/Southwest, we will each have 2 bags & have notified DME to get extra luggage tags. Is there a fee for extra bags w/DME? Thanks!

Hi, Albert! I always love when a fellow resident of the Keystone State visits us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm very excited to see you have a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth coming up soon! As you already know, Disney's Magical Express is a complimentary benefit of staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. It's a great way to feel like you're already on vacation before you've even left the airport.  My favorite thing about the whole process is the ability to bypass baggage claim (and anybody who's ever been to baggage claim at the Orlando International Airport knows how magical this is).

Have no worries (or Hakuna Matata as Pumba and Timon say), Albert, because there is no charge for this service, even for your additional bags (hey, princesses and princes need lots of extra shoes when they're touring the Parks)! Typically, Guests receive one yellow luggage tag per person by mail, but Disney is always happy to provide extras if needed. In the future, if you don't have enough luggage tags, you can also go to the Magical Express check-in desk and present your checked baggage claim numbers to a Cast Member, and they'll take care of the rest.

Albert, you should be receiving those luggage tags in the mail soon! Have a wonderful trip!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
