Hi there, Amanda, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I stayed at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort with a group of girlfriends last fall, and we had a
groovy time! The larger-than-life icons from the various decades and fun Disney details all around the resort provide such a fun blast from the past, the rooms are modern and well-designed, and the
Everything POP Shopping & Dining food court has some seriously delicious cupcakes!
As the song goes, “
we all have the courage to fly,” and I cannot wait to soar through the air in a Disney Skyliner gondola. An official opening date for the
Disney Skyliner has not yet been announced, though we’re hearing Fall 2019. My advice is to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, as they’ve been doing a great job
keeping us updated on the Skyliner’s progress. I’m also sending you some pixie dust (after all, it’s the magic stuff that can make us fly) in the hopes that you find the Disney Skyliner operating on your visit. I think your visit might still be a little early, but a dream is a wish your heart makes, so I’m sending some wishes your way. Be sure to check with a Cast Member at your resort upon check-in, as they will have the most up-to-date information on the operating status.
You'll have access to
Walt Disney World Bus Transportation to all four theme parks, plus the Water Parks and Disney Springs from Disney's Pop Century Resort. And, if you're looking for a fun way to travel,
Minnie Van Service is an adorable option for traveling in style - they can even play theme park or resort music as your background tunes!
Amanda, I hope you have an absolutely blast on your summer visit to Walt Disney World Resort. To celebrate America’s birthday month, there are
lots of fun red, white, and blue treats available in the theme parks and resorts, and I hope you get a chance to sample some of them. There’s so much
summer magic in store for you!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
