Hi, there!
Your visit will be here before you know it, Marisa. How exciting! Traveling to the
Walt Disney World Resort with little ones in tow is so magical. Your heart will just burst with joy!
I don't think planning to visit the theme parks five days in a row is unreasonable with your kiddos. My little ones will be 8-years old, 6-years old, and 10-months old for our visit this summer, and we'll be doing the same thing! My best advice is to plan for a restful arrival day, and to schedule daily breaks during your stay. We can't wait to visit the theme parks when we arrive in Orlando, especially Magic Kingdom Park, but traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort is enough of an adventure for one day. On our arrival day, we explore our Resort hotel, swim at the pool, and visit our favorite pal for dinner at
Chef Mickey's. After an early bedtime, we're set to go the next morning! We arrive at the theme parks early, when the crowds are the lightest, and travel back to our Resort hotel shortly after lunch for a long afternoon rest. Even though our oldest two have long outgrown napping, they still take an afternoon snooze after an adventure-filled morning in the theme parks! Once everyone feels well-rested (mom and dad too!), we head back to the theme parks to enjoy the unique evening magic.
Be sure to take or
rent a stroller! Little legs will tire easily, and they'll be glad for a ride here and there throughout the day. We'll be taking our double stroller with us this summer; one seat for the baby, and the other seat for whichever big kid needs a short break!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marisa. Wishing you a most magical visit!
