Traveling to WDW the last week in Sept. Have ADR for HoopDeeDo @ 5. Would we make it to see Fantasmic w/ DDs 3&5 or should we not attempt it? What's the fastest way to go w/ Disney Transportation?

    Elena:

Because the Hoop dee Doo Revue lasts about two hours and the latest Fantasmic Show I see that week begins at 8 p.m., I wouldn't advise trying to make the show-especially with a 3- and 5-year-old in tow!

Another option to extend your night time fun is to take a leisure stroll over to Chip 'n' Dale's campfire sing-a-long (it's free) behind the Meadows Trading Post.  It should still be starting around 8 p.m. because the time hasn't changed. (If you don't want to walk, take the Orange Liine bus right outside Pioneer Hall to the Meadows.)

Once there, you can buy a smores package (just a few dollars, purely optional, very reasonable) at the cantee and help the girls roast their own marshmallows (although I'd be pretty stuffed after dinner!!).  Then, find a seat for the cowboy sing-a-long while Chip 'n' Dale make their rounds!  If you want to make a late night of it, stay for the Disney movie on the big outdoor screen!

As for the fastest way to go with Disney transportation, I'd take a bus or monorail from your hotel to the Magic Kingdom and board one of the boat launches to Fort Wilderness.  Once the boat lands at the pier, Pioneer Hall, where they house Hoop dee Doo, is about a 3-minute walk past the beach to your right.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
