Hello Betsy!!
To bring a stroller or not to bring a stroller, that is the question. I have had this conversation with many families over the years, and I have always chosen to bring our own strollers.
There are several reasons for this decision. First, Disney World stroller rentals are $15 for a single stroller and $31 for a double stroller per day. Since our family vacations usually last one week, we can purchase a really nice stroller for the amount of money we would spend on renting a stroller at the parks. Second, our family does not want to stand in line at each park to rent a stroller. Now, if you rent a Disney stroller and make a one time payment for multiple days ($13 a day for single stroller and $27 a day for a double stroller), you are expedited through the line for a shorter wait time. However, you still must wait to pick up a stroller and you must turn in your stroller when you leave in order to rent another stroller the next day. Third, the strollers are made out of hard plastic and are not very comfortable.
The only drawback we have found in bringing our own strollers is the bus rides to and from our resort. I will be honest and tell you strollers can get heavy at midnight when you are trying to hold a sleeping baby and your bulky stroller keeps hitting the person sitting next to you.
