I am traveling to WDW from June 7-14 and I am thinking about booking the Fantasmic Dinner Package. I would like to know the best time for dinner to have time to make the show and which restaurant would be best for 2 adults, 2 children (9 & 6).

    Terrie:

One of the advantages to the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Disney's Hollywood Studios is that you do not have to eat right before the show to get the reserved seating the package affords. In fact, you receive a VIP seating voucher after eating lunch or dinner, allowing you to choose your dining time and then only arrive about 20 minutes or so before the show to get your seat, instead of waiting in the long lines.

You get the biggest bang for your buck, in my opinion, from choosing Hollywood & Vine. Many of the entrees on the Mama Melrose menu are less than $20 and the inclusion of a dessert and drink doesn't make up its cost to me. For only $10 more for your party, you can eat all you want at the large Hollywood & Vine buffet (best if you have picky eaters in your family). To top off that choice, if you make your reservation for lunch, your 6-year-old will love the Character Meet-and-Greet and fun at the restaurant.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
