We are traveling to WDW in June...staying at Port Orleans. 2 questions: we would really like a king bed instead of 2 queens, but this did not seem to be an option when I booked online. How would I request this?

    Hi, Helen!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question. You are going to love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. We have stayed there several times, and we really enjoy the beautiful grounds and Ol' Man Island Pool.

Although availability can change at any moment, I just checked for the two weeks around your arrival date, and the website is showing me that there is availability for a King Bed Room. Because you already made your reservation, my advice is to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and ask a Cast Member to change your room to a King Bed Room. You will pay a bit more for a King Bed Room than you would for a Standard View Room or Garden View Room. Just note that the King Bed Room only sleeps up to three Guests over the age of three. If you have more than three Guests over the age of three in your party, this room would not be an option.

Helen, I hope I've answered your question. Please stop back and see us again real soon if you have any additional questions!

Wishing your magical memories to last a lifetime!
