Hi! We are traveling to WDW in June 2013, last time we were there was March 2008. Please advise me of all the changes, what's new and what do we want to make sure we DO NOT MISS. thank you! Dreaming of Disney in Alabama

Hi Tamara!  Congratulations on returning from your five year absence, Disney has missed you!  Disney World is constantly evolving so there is almost always something new to experience.  I will try to hit all of the highlights that you have missed. The newest and probably biggest announcement is The New Fantasyland.  Nestled in the section that used to Mickey's Toontown Fair this is the new home of of the double Flying Dumbo..that's right I said double as there are two of them.  There is also Journey of the Little Mermaid, Gaston's Tavern, Enchanted Tales with Belle (this is not your typical story time), and Be Our Guest restaurant. Be Our Guest has to be one of the best themed restaurants on property.Midway Mania at Hollywood Studios was opened in summer of 2008, I'm not sure if you had a chance to experience it,  but you should definitely check it out.  At Hollywood Studios, Star Tours received a 3D makeover and The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow is the newest addition taking the place of Journey into Narnia, I have not experience this personally yet but it has received a wonderful reviews. In Epcot, Test Track has been reimagined and has an interactive area where you and two passengers will get to design your own vehicle and if you have any Michael Jackson fans in your group, you will be thrilled to know that Captain EO has been brought back taking place of "Honey I Shrunk The Audience."Unless you are already planning on staying there, take a tour of  The Art of Animation Resort and it's four themed areas (Lion King, Cars, Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid). Disney really out did themselves when designing this Resort and it also boasts the largest pool on Disney property. I'm sure I've just scratched the surface of all the exciting changes since your last visit,  remember the Mom's Panel is here to answer any questions that you may have, we love what we do!
    Welcome Back!!
