Hi! I am traveling to WDW in 50ish days (YAY) with a free dining promotion on my reservation. We would like to stay 2 extra days. Will I lose my Free Dining promotion if I move hotels or add 2 nights to my reservation?

    Hi Kayla,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. YAY is right! You’re going to Walt Disney World super soon, and I know you’re getting so excited for your time in The Most Magical Place on Earth. Yay it up!

I love that you want to add a few more magical days to your existing reservation – that’s always a good idea, as far as I’m concerned. Because you’ve scored a reservation with the coveted Free Dining promotion, I advise you to call Walt Disney World Resort Reservations at (407) 939-1936. The Cast Member you speak with will be able to see whether you’ll be able to add those extra days to your existing reservation, or whether you’ll need to add two extra days as a room-only reservation, possibly at another resort, and possibly without Free Dining. This will depend on availability at your resort, whether there is any availability left for the promotion, and whether the dates you’re looking at fall within the promotion dates. The Reservations Cast Member will be able to answer all those questions, and help you decide the best way to proceed with your resort reservation. I’m sending you some pixie dust that it works out for you!

Kayla, it sounds like your upcoming stay will take place during the holiday season, which I know you are going to love. The parks and resorts are dressed in their holiday best, and there are so many festive events and seasonal snacks available during this most magical time. Be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog as you plan, pack, and dream about your upcoming vacation, as they regularly share news about holiday happenings, tasty treats, and helpful vacation tips.

Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
